Hot Rolled Coils & Sheets

Hot rolled coil is rolled from con-cast slabs that have been preheated to just below its molten temperature (around 2,800° F).The coil is then allowed to air cool to room temperature, allowing the steel to self anneal any “work hardening” that occurred in the rolling process.

Cold Rolled Coils & Sheets

Cold rolled steel is manufactured from hot rolled coil which is pickled to remove surface oxidization. Pickled hot rolled coils are then cold reduced to final dimensions. Because of the severe cold reduction, usually 50% or more, the cold rolled coil has extremely low ductility. The coil is then annealed to improve the ductility followed by temper rolling to ensure the finished product has the shape or flatness required.

Galvanized Coil and Sheets

Galvanized or zinc coated steels are excellent where economy, strength and corrosion resistance are the prime requirement. The steel core provides high strength and formability, and the zinc coating is unmatched as an effective and economical protection.Zinc is used as a protective coating because of its extremely slow oxidation rate and its protective sacrificial action which inhibits corrosion of the steel.

Prepainted Coil and Sheets

Pre-painted Steel offers an esthetic finish with excellent durability, formability and weather resistance. The painting process begins with a cold rolled steel substrate that undergoes an extensive cleaning process to improve adhesion.
The base material is then coated with either a galvanized or galvalume layer to enhance corrosion resistance. This is followed by pre-treatment and primer coat to ensure paint adhesion. The final colour top coat is then applied.

Chequered Plates

Chequered plate is a plate with a regular pattern of projections on one side, showing diamond or other shapes, with the reverse side being smooth.Chequered plate is skid-proof, has a good wear ability and slip resistance as well as self-draining surface.
